[SunRescue] IPC dead as doornail... possible causes?

GCC generates 64bit code on the Alpha. It also supports 64bit code on the
IA-64 platform. If you meaning does it do 64bit code on the Sparc
platform, then I'm not sure, but I'm inclined to think so since there is a
port in progress to get linux running in SPARC 64bit mode.
