[rescue] What is a good terminal?

I like DEC terminals myself, but the choice is subjective.
If I were getting a new terminal today, I would look for a VT525 base - it
can take three different hard-wired sessions (three wires to three differnet
computers), it takes a VGA monitor, PS/2 keyboard, and usually costs around
$20-40 for the base, shipped.
The one downside is that you will need MMJ connectors to use all three
ports, depending on your parts bin and/or local surplus dealers that could
be easy or hard...
Oh, and if you want a more conventional temrinal, I like the Dec VT420 - the
VT220 is nice too, but I have heard that the VT3XX terminals are "soft", and
are a bit slower to draw on the screen than the VT2XX and VT4XX series
terminals. That is second hand info - I'be not seen them myself...
HTH,
Ken
