Yes this is true. Pull the graphics board and disconnect the keyboard. connect
to the first serial port with a terminal set to 9600, 8, N, 1
Unfortunately every graphics board I ever saw for the 720/730/735 has BNC
connectors. With a little creativity you can get the board to work with regular
PeeCee monitors that support Sync-on-green.

All 7xx machines are officially designated as workstations by HP, all 8xx
machines are servers.
you will need a copy of HP-UX 10.2 for the 700 series. HP-UX 11 is not
supported on that box.
