even so, i still don't like those.  that's two wires and a doo-dad that are
involved (even if the AUI drop is permanantly affixed to the tranceiver i still
count it as a wire) instead of a single wire.  give me a nice MAU anyway.

the only place i can think that i'd live without a MAU is a single machine that
needs AUI, or maybe two machines, but in any quantity, the MAU is the way to go.
