Couldn't you always set up install_server to copy the CD-ROm to disk? I
could swear I did that in a Solaric 2.5.1 Admin class years ago...
Ever net install multiple IPCs from a central IPX (whoo-hoo!) with a 2x
CD-ROM? Here's a tip -stagger the installs by a brief period of time (1-2
seconds), they subsequent reads for the following workstations will come
from the disk cache, not cause a new seek on the CD-ROM... We tried this
with three IPCs,andit seemed much faster than if the installs were off by
more than a minute...
