[rescue] Wireless/802.11b for SPARCs?

Hi all,
Anyone know of any supported 802.11b or other low-cost commodity wireless
networking that works with SPARC systems? I'm looking to put up a short
link between buildings until we can hire the backhoes and get fiber, and I
suspect the cheapest and least telco-dependent way is routing over an
802.11b link between the buildings. However, I'm not sure I want to just
put a laptop in the window on either side, and I'd like to have a
remotely manageable link.
If there was an easy to find higher-speed option, we could look at that. I
guess 802.11a is still a ways out (50mbps+, yum), but if anybody has
suggestions I'm open to considering them. This doesn't have to be a $200
solution, but I don't want to send several thousand a month to Pacbell for
a stopgap if I can avoid it.
Thanks,
