The LX is reasonable as a firewall, IMHO.

The problem you need to watch out for is the outbound
link speed of your DSL line... You may have 384K
in-bound (Internet to your computer), but you may have
something like 100 K outbound (your computer to the
internet)... Make sure your friend understands the
outbound speed he is buying.

Also, your IP address will most likely be dynamically
assigned - it may be static, but it may also be
dynamic - if it is dynamic you will need to account
for that (see www.dyndns.org for one example of a way
to deal with this problem).

Two 48V Ultra 2s - odd... Also understand that 2x
Ultra 2s running constantly will use a fair bit of
power - not *huge*, but not trivial either - and your
friend will probably be expecting some sort of UPS on
his servers, if only to allow them to come down
cleanly in case of a power interruption.
