I don't know how Interactive started life, but their main business seemed
to be doing ports of Unix. They ported SysIII to the XT/AT for IBM (PC/IX),
and they ported SysV to the XT/AT (!) for AT&T (INix -- I'm not sure the
product was ever released, I got my copy when somebody found a warehouse of
old AT&T junk and was selling it off).
As recently as 1995-ish, there was still one Multibus-based 68K machine
running Xenix in one of Microsoft's server rooms. I was a contractor there
and happened to stumble across it.
