[rescue] Singing the praises

   I have a SCSI disk that has suddenly displayed a media fault tonight.

   The fault is in an absolutely empty filesystem ("for future expansion").
The in-use filesystem on the disk is error-free, giving me the opportunity
to make a backup of it.

   To which gods and goddesses do I give thanks, and what are the appropriate
offerings?
