[rescue] OS X The Missing Manual - anyone look at it?

I want to get this book, any one read it/review it? www.bookpool.com has 
it for 44% off covr price, but it it out of stock... The TOC & sample 
chapter look real good, and I like the author (David Pouge)'s style...

Other advice appreciated for a Mac (not computer) newbie...
