I don't own any guns.  Many if not most people I know don't own guns.  I best 
most people in cities (and cities contain most of the countries population) 
don't own guns.

Not that I have anything against owning guns.  It just projects an aggressive
out there image, even if the person doing it is some mind mannered, late-middle
aged businessman middle manager.
