Yep,

Okay, I've got a cable running from the <IN> port of the disk tray to a FSBE
on card 0 of the ss1000. I've got a terminator on the <OUT> port. When
booting from the CD-ROM I get this message:
Disconnected command timeout for Target 2.0
There is a 'WARNING:' with a device tree address that is the disk tray's
associated with that message (prints right before).
Am I right to assume that disk #2 on the tray is bad or headed that way? I
haven't tried to format any of the disks on the tray yet.
By the way, I tried cabling the tray to the motherboard's scsi port, but
then I got contention with the internal drives. So I guess that is all on
one bus.
Thanks for everyone's help and advice as I've tried to get this running.
