Bill,

Porting Solaris to pocket-scale computers, and which OS to use on such
hardware are quite distant from usual topics on the Sun-Rescue list, which is
populated mostly by people interested in reviving old Sun hardware.

A better place to search about future PDA OSes could be "wearable computers."
Literally the Compaq iPAQ 3630's Linux connection came from corporate research
into wearable computers. (itsy computer)

<off topic for Sun-Rescue> CHORUS-like systems seem to be of increasing
interest as the little bitty devices become more communicative via wireless
means. At some point an intelligent refrigerator will be able to poke a todo
alarm into a person's PDA wristwatch when the refrigerator senses that the
beer supply is running low. </off topic> Automating beer supply maintenance
could become the next Sun-Rescue hot topic. :^)
