[SunRescue] 135 gigs of MP3 collections

Here is the recipe for having more MP3's than can conveniently be played in
six months*

1. 500+ CD's (many out of press, or difficult to find)
2. AudioGrabber
3. 1.544Mbps internet connection
4. Napster
5. An unemployed music obsessed wife
6. An over employed hardware junky husband who just happens to work for a
storage company.
7. An extremely fast multiproseccor computer with 1gb of RAM (see 6 above)

Bake on high for approximatley three years and there you have it folks,
around 135 gigabytes of MP3's in all categories (and of all legalities)
totaling something around (it changes daily) 35 thousand files.

*Assuming appx 1mb per minute of play time, 135 gigabytes = 2,250 hours of
music. Further assuming that sleep and the other necessary functions of life
take up approximately 12 hours per day, leaving the other 12 hours for MP3
playing, you could play MP3's for six months and never repeat.

How does everybody get these huge mp3 collections?  I have read of
several of you speak of having a large numner of MP3s.  I have a few cds
that I have ripped to MP3, but it takes awhile.  Did you guys just have
a constant connection to Napster?
