[rescue] desperation is the mother of invention

Actually, I  find it works better to go primative for at least one week a
year. My solution for the the past 5 years has been rental cabins on First
Connecticut Lake at the Canadian border in New Hampshire.

No phones, no TV, no radio (unless you speak Canuk,, err French).

Fishing, Sailing, time with wife, logging trails for my 4X4 truck,
mountain hiking trails, horseback rides, swimming.....

OK... so I do geek a little, I use a handheld GPS on the boat. And I do
bring the laptop incase things go to hell at work (phoneline and ISP
available at the Hosts Lodge).

Everyone needs a vacation. And its not a vacation if your doing work (even
if it is your life :). And its not a vacation for the wife if shes alone
all day.
