what the hell is an SPF100? i've _NEVER_ heard that before. although from the
pics it looks exactly like a sparc5 to me.

the ethernet and the PCMCIA cards are worth more than you paid for the box.
good deal. the last time i plugged a quad fastE card into a sparc5 the thing
wouldn't even power on, so don't be surprised if that's a 10Mbit quad card.

it looks like a sparc5 with a PCMCIA "thing" (i hate calling them cards, since
you *put* PCMCIA _CARDS_ in them, but, on well) and a quad-E card. don't know
if you'll have much use for the quad-E but you can get one of them PCMCIA-CF
adapters and plug your CF cards right in there (i do it, it rules) and mount
them as a filesystem and copy away.
the sparc5 is a nice box. my first sparc machine was a 5 (paid $3K for it a
couple years ago with 16MB RAM, 2x500MB disks and a 17" tube.) and i still love
that box to this very day. as soon as i get something that'll nicely route
between my FDDI ring and my ethernet (got a lead on a cisco 7k) i'll probably
make the sparc5 my firewall again. it was good at that.
anyway, nice haul.

ps: anyone know if there are any wireless cards that are supported by Solaris?
i'd love to plug a wireless card into my sparc20 and turn it into a base station
for a wireless network.
pps: i've found my new food addiction. Cheddar Cheese CHEEZ-IT crackers. yum.
