Just so you know, the QA-11 is also known as the SparcPrinter-I.  Big
heavy boxy OEM Xerox thing, uses the lpvi host card to interface.  I run
mine using Ghostscript for local .ps rendering and it does pretty well.

400dpi, 12ppm.  Since rendering is entirely on the host side, with a fast
enough host you can sustain 12ppm under almost any circumstances.
