  That's most likely an Exabyte 8500.  You'll need data-grade tapes
for that.  You can sometimes get away with higher-quality video tapes
for the 2.3GB format, but not for the 5GB format.  Not if you dislike
more bad reads than good ones, anyway. ;)

  I like Sony QG-112M tapes for 5GB drives.
