BB> FREE STUFF!
BB> For pickup (only) in Austin, TX. I'm available any night of the
BB> week after 6pm.
BB> PDP stuff still left:
BB> Two RX01 dual-8" floppy drives. David W. didnt have enough room
BB> in his van after the 11/60 and other stuff was loaded, so they're
BB> first-come, first-serve.
BB> Sun stuff:
BB> 4/690MP VME cardcage and blower
BB> 6 x 2.1gig 5.25" FH HVD SCSI HDs
BB> Lots of diff. external cables, etc
BB> 3 x rackmount drive "trays" w/power supplies
BB> 1 x holds the 6 drives above
BB> 2 x holds 3 1.3gig IPI drives
BB> 6 x 1200W power supplies for the VME cardcage (lots of extras!)
BB> Other stuff:
BB> Tons (6-7 at least) of older 386/486/K5-based motherboards,
BB> RAM, older CD-ROM drives, video cards, etc. Enough parts here
BB> to build at least 3-4 working systems, I'd say.
BB> I've also got a custom 486 in a Bell-logo'ed custom-built rackmount
BB> case that has/had windows 3.11 installed for some kind of CO switch
BB> management.
BB> The "rules":
BB> 1. No making any of this stuff into 'wall hangings'. Well,
BB> you can do that with the PC stuff, but not the Sun or DEC
BB> stuff. 8-)
BB> 2. You have to give it a good home or give it to someone else
BB> who will.
BB> 3. If I dont get any takers on the VME cardcage, someone who
BB> comes to get something else has to help me toss it into
BB> the giant construction dumpster in the front yard. I
BB> narrowly avoided certain Doom via Wife when David showed
BB> up to take some of the larger PDP stuff off my hands today. 8-)
BB> Email me if interested in anything.
BB> Bill
Y'know Bill - it's almost worth it for me to get a $25 pass from my
sister-in-law at United and check some of this stuff as baggage. ;-)
(I know - never work - too big - yada...)
Of course all other parties in my house would probably strangle
me...no...really!...they would!
