Works fine on mine. Actually, I've got 2 x 32 meggers and 4 x 16 meggers
for a Grand Total of 128 megs in my LX. It's actually all PeeCee memory,
albeit of the proper spec (60 ns, true parity).
I'd give you a lot of numbers showing how having the extra 32 megs (versus 6
x 16) speeds things up, but I never ran mine that way. I put 4 sticks of 16
meg memory out of an IPX in it (what's 20 nanoseconds between friends?) for
testing, and, when the LX booted and ran, scrounged the "real" stuff for it.
I will tell you that a Classic or an LX can provide a _lot_ of services on a
small network, do it day after day, and never complain. What a great little
box.
