[SunRescue] Looking for SS20

Well, my idea of a discount is as much a rationalization to
defer the purchase as it is an attempt to save a few dollars.

The only discount I would be entitled to would be a mass-market
"Educational" discount, if this unit were to get folded into
that (seemingly) constant offering from Sun.

It seems like a reasonable discount candidate *later on*, say,
this summer...

Besides, if they won't get any cheaper, then why not buy it now?
But I can't slip that into the house without atleast being able
to claim it was a discounted item... ;^)

I am not complaining, I am simply yielding to the little voices
coming from the other room...

I wouldn't hold my breath on any discounts for the Blade
100 anytime in the near future. The Sun dealers I know in the
Portland area are grumbling because you can get a Blade cheaper
of the website than they can get one for with their discount by
the time shipping is figured in. One dealer who has ordered some
for a LARGE customer; figures he will be lucky to break even.
He is only doing it because of the volume in other areas and the
fact that their purchasing quidelines only let the buy from a
dealer and not direct. (They refuse to agree to Suns legal
agreement
that you have to accept for direct purchase.)
