Slots are, in order, 0, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12. 

ftp://192.18.99.138/805-3389-11/805-3389-11.pdf might be useful... pdf of
the e250 hardware manual (link from docs.sun.com). The drive targets are
on logical page 85, pdf page 119.

You can stop the drive in metatool before removing; they're nice hot-swap
jobbies. Make sure you remove them from any metadevices before pulling
them (that's the oops of experience you hear in the background.
