[SunRescue] Odd Machine(s)

WOuld really all depend on the CPUs, IMHO.

$250 w/ CD-ROM and 128 Meg RAM and 2 Gig HD would be a reasonable deal for a
single slow processor, but once you get above an SM50/51 processor it starts
becoming a very good deal.

Remember, you can get a machine that will most likely blow the Ross systems
out of the water for $999 at Sun.com (Sun Blade 100) - with 128 Meg RAM, 15
Gig HD, CD-ROM 10/100 ehternet, and 500 MHz UltraSPARC CPU.

RAM for the SS/20 will cost you about $.50 to $1/meg while RAM for the Blade
100 is about $100 for 256 Meg RAM.

If you plan on adding anything to the SS/20 clone machines described here,
you may want to consider your needs and other options...

I would really have to question investing $400 in an SS/20 series machine
today ($250 for unit, $150 for more RAM, maybe another HD + bracket), but
that is me.
