[SunRescue] Making Solaris 2.8 be a NAT gateway

You should have two different files in /etc:

ifconfig.le0
ifconfig.le1

They do have different hostnames in them.
Also check /etc/hosts and make sure that those
two different hostnames have different ip addresses.
