>>Um. Interesting to find out just how few pictures
>>I've bothered to upload recently. The most recent
>>one of any quality looks like our engagement picture:
That's not so atypical - I have three web sites I'm not doing anything with
at the moment. I have plans to finish them when I have DSL (whenever _that_
happens) and activate my domain name.
And as for the pictures of my wife and child - I can't get my wife to take
another picture for me, and have you ever tried to get a 3 year old to sit
still for a picture without crying? ;-)
Here's the pictures:

Sorry about the picture clarity people - old 640x480 Mavica camera and
scanned photos.
Note: The box in front of me is my LX mp3 player which I have to look at
today - it popped the
inverter overload circuit in my car.
The bumper sticker on the monitor says
C:\COFFEE.COM NOT FOUND REBOOT USER? Y/N
and the paper on the side of the other monitor is the classic "nicht fur
gerfingerpoken" sign.
As for the "short form" of data on me and mine:
I was born a poor white boy...no really - I was. ;-)
Anyway, I'm 32, have been married to my wife for 7 years this August. My
daughter is 3 going on 4 and supposedly mildly autistic because she doesn't
speak in sentences yet - I don't believe it. I think she just has not found
something that she "needs" words for - she manages to convey her needs quite
well without them. She does _love_ typing on the computer and is fascinated
by Xscreensaver. Building a system for her currently. Because of
ease-of-use I may just buy her an iMac to start her out. Still debating.
I've worked several places in my life including but not limited to:
Domino's, an auto parts store, a (literally) home basement computer
business, an "alternative" religious establishment (please don't ask), a
staple/nailer manufacturer (www.duo-fast.com), and currently an Aerospace
manufacturing firm (http://www.methode.com/netbus/index.html) that
manufactures power distribution systems.
Hobbies, when I have time for them, include reading Sci-Fi, woodworking -
making large walking staffs, making any old obsolyte computer/electronic
hardware work and be useful, a light Anime addiction - it hasn't flared up
into the full force yet, and last but not least writing in my journal
daily - although that happens to be more of a stress reliever.
I've a got a whole list of things I'd like to try/learn, music among those,
but until I get some other things out of the way those are currently getting
shelved.
One more thing - my wife has recently gone up a notch in releasing her inner
geek. She has started to check her e-mail when she first wakes up in the
morning and she spent several hours on the net the night before last.
*sniff* I'm soo proud! She's even asked me not to remove her wireless IR
keyboard/pointer combo so she can work her computer from the bed. *grin*
