I had a 'big one' 20 years ago  when a car reversed out onto a main road,
I hit him well enough that they had to cut the occupants out of the car.
My parents bought me a car 9 months later, when I could walk again, on
suggestion that  I should never have another bike.  That lasted for 6
months or so and then I got a bike as soon as I could ride one again.  I
presently have 2 bikes and a car.
