I hope some rescuers take advantage of this offer, and can then help me get
mine up with Linux. My javastation has 64 Meg RAM, and I had hoped to get
Linux to run on it - I got close, I had a boot server set up, but was not
able to configure a filesystem (lost interest/out of time)...
Thanks,
Ken

Subject: [SunRescue] FS: JavaStations
It's time to part with my JavaStations, no time to play with them and need
the
room for other toys. *sniff* Anybody interested in them, contact me
off-list.
I have 10 "shoebox" JavaStations to sell. "Rescuers" get first shot at
them.
Some of the units are grey and some are beige. Some of these units may be
pre-production units (hand-written serial numbers). They are all in good
physical condition, I do not know if they all work; however, I will
guarantee
against DOA. I will power up the units to make sure they pass POST before
shipping them. I don't have the setup to boot them to an OS (if I had the
time to do that, I would be selling them...)
$35 each w/0MB RAM (this price is only good for personal use or as a gift;
if
you are buying them to resell, contact me offlist; PLEASE honor this
request.)
I do have some memory for them, but I don't know exactly what I have.
Memory
is first come, first served, JavaStation purchasers get first call. I'll
get
back to anybody interested with the part numbers and what memory is
available.
I do not have keyboards or mice for them. I prefer payment via PayPal.
Ed
