I looked into this (putting in a beverage "gun") a few months ago.  The 
stopper was that all of the units want what is called a "chill plate" inline 
between the gun and the syrup containers.  This cools the mix, and is 
typically installed in the bottom of the ice bin behind the bar, or in the 
bottom of an ice machine.  I have neither, and no room to install them, so 
that killed the idea.

I don't know if the fountains (top of the bar) use the same arrangement or not.

Setting up the bier tap was easy in comparison.
