I picked up a couple of these in the UK a few months back - brand new, the
guy had just formatted them on a windows box to satisfy himself that they
worked OK.
They're actually closer to 8.3Gb capacity when formatted. They also use
2mm spacing jumpers so you'd have to engage in a bit of handywork to hook
up scsi id selectors if you need that. I sourced some 2 pin 2mm headers
from Farnell in the UK and did it that way to get these drives into a pair
of 811 cases.
They've actually got the connectors in the correct place for the 811 cases
too - ie, on top of the drive rather than underneath.
