I beg to differ on this. My Elite runs hot, especailly on the bottom,
but my IBM 3.5" 9gig drive runs just barely warm. Unfortunetly, I can't
remember the model on IBM drive, it is a 7800 rpm LVD running at Ultra
speeds (40mb/sec), as I haven't gottrn my LVD cable in the mail yet.
The Seagate is the 9gig wide differential version.
I will admit the moden Elite isn't as hot as my old 300meg
Seagates....those were really hot!
