Sounds like your obp no likey that card.  My first guess would try the
diag options and see if it tells ya anything.  also showdevs or whatever
and then `cd` out that path to the card and try a .properties to see if
it recognizes it.  also make sure ya have tx to rx and vice versa ;)

i'm surprised it doesn't say like fast data exception  mmu miss or the
like.  oh, and don't chew on the cable.  Could be cable issue :\
