[rescue] damn IRIX 5.3 C compiler

For the record: It's completely useless. Doesn't compile half of the
GNU stuff (including necessities like Perl, fileutils, grep, etc.),
and what's more, it won't compile GCC so I can use that. I had to fix
some awful conflicting typedef's under /usr/include just to get the
compiler to build anything non-trivial. Perhaps the SGI patch cluster
for 5.3 fixes its many problems, but unfortunately said cluster turns
anything with GL in it into magical kernel-panicking programs :).
If one of you can't help me out with a binary GCC build for this
machine, I just might do something crazy like build a cross-compiler
on my SPARCstation. Extreme situations demand extreme measures, after
all.
Anyone? Anyone?
Machine, if that's important, is a Personal IRIS 4D/35, R3k.
