[rescue] Okay.. OS thoughts

I ran into the exact same problem many times with my SS2's, a SS5 and a
SS20. I solved the problem by setting up a rarpd and tftp server and booting
off the network. It works great.

I was installing Potato.

That really weird.  I've had really good success doing installs, including
over serial...  Ben Collins (current Debian president and sparc guy) is
really good about ironing stuff like that out.  Although he is currently
without a sun4c machine (I'm working on fixing that).
