unzip 8_Recommended.zip
cd 8_Recommended
./install_cluster -nosave

Thats what I've always done..

Same basic procedure with the Maintenance Updates
(*always* install the latest recommended cluster
*before* the MU, however.. Tons of the MU will 
say "patch already applied", but I horribly broke
things once by applying the MU first..)
