[rescue] USB + U30 + PS/2-USB Adapter?

Ja, I've seen PS/2-USB converters for $40 and USB PCI cards for 
$10. And it's got the added benefit of being USB so it would work 
with a USB switchbox and all that goodness. I would like to know if 
it works before I spend my ca$h. Also, does Sol8 support hot 
swapping of USB gear?
