[rescue] Tricking DNS

Is there an easy way to preload a caching DNS (standard Solaris 7 one) with
a bunch of addresses, without setting up zone files and pretending to be the
real DNS for the domains involved?
Currently, we're running our PCs with hosts files that have a lot of
advertising
servers and other sites "blanked" by referring them to localhost:
127.0.0.1 advertiser.com
127.0.0.1 foo.advertiser.net
127.0.0.1 popups-r-us.com
This works very well, but updating the hosts files on all the machines is a
PITA. I'm running a local caching DNS server, and I'd rather do it there if
I can.
Clues appreciated. Thanks.
