I've been quite happy with using an X only box for the past 4-5 years in a
work environment.  Visio is a kicker, but Dia has been acceptable.  As
far as scheduling in outlook, I've been able to work around that with
the understanding of co-workers and just having the exec admin's make
changes for me.   I, of course, use StarOffice for my word-type of stuff
but if I'm composing it it's generally just flat ascii done in vi.
Hell, actully most of my visio type stuff is done in vi as well.

I, personally, feel quite strongly that there is _no_ need for a windows
box in any capacity.  I don't play games though, that's one argument for
having a win-box.
