While growing up, my folks had to deal with a "Plat Committee" in the
early 80's.  Later on the Plat Committee didn't seem to care, or figured
we had proven ourselves, or something.  I don't recall hearing anything
about them after awhile.

The neighborhood wasn't fancy, but it was nice, had a lot of older
people living in it.
