I don't think he is clueless, I think he is deliberately taking
advantage of people who don't know any better.  

Check out his website.  BTW I thought that ebay policy was that you
weren't supposed to have links to your own site on ebay pages.

Look at the laptop, which is worth maybe a grand, he is charging $1699
for it.
