[rescue] damn you bill, now i'm a lowbrow fan too

In a country where guns are a birthright and supposedly protected from
Federal encroachment(can you hear the laughter?), yes..."only"...in terms
of handguns.  The long arms are another story.  Each one has killed its
requisiste animal(pheasant, ducks, deer, rabbit) except the 30-30...it
backs up the 30-06 in case I ever drop it and whack the scope to death.  

Anyone familiar with a lever-action .223 rifle?  I had to blink about a
dozen times, but a friend of mine, a Russian immigrant no less, found one
and it's really neat...but...odd....
