Depends on the drive, I've seen some IBM (older) drives where the SCA 
connector stuck out far enough to keep the drive body clear,  Maybe some of 
the seagate drives where the interface was on a daughterboard pasted on the 
back of the drive, like the ST15150WC's would fit.
