Try Bombay Vindaloo, To Live Forever etc.
Isn't most music calculated? Or at least the artist have a pretty good
idea of what they're aiming at. And it's a bit hard to adlib and change
between 7/8, 5/4, and 8/8 interestingly and fluently :)
This also makes it quite intense, so if you listen to a long stream of
only halfway familiar songs, you get bored and the changes seem random.
It's mostly better to try digesting them well first.
The same ofcourse applies to a lot of music but especially progressive.
