(unfortunately it's my second edition, and in paperback, that's
autographed by Ritchie....  and he said he likely wouldn't have
autographed the first one even if I happened to have had it with me,
though his publisher's publicist was in the room at the time -- I should
have asked him again at dinner afterwards....)
