true, I guess I just think of them that way.  Maybe, the name alone 
evokes images of that heritage, for me.

I'd like to get some Altec Voice of the Theater speakers :-)  They 
always go for a lot of money on Ebay, and they are normally several 
states away, at least.  Since they're big, shipping would be a pain.
