One of my first impressions of Dave after meeting him in person:

He was standing with Mike N. and James S, talking with Amy.. I was
sitting squatted down on the curb about 10-15 feet away.

Without meaning to, I let one rip, and I was wearing tight pants, so
it was rather loud.

Dave: "Did you just fart?"
Me: "Uhm, yeah. Excuse me."
Dave: "Good one, dude."

(or something to that effect)
