All you need is Sync On Green, the proper resolution (1024x768 and/or 1280x1024
most likely), and the proper refresh rate (60hz at least, higher being better).
So, if your SVGA monitor does that, then you are set. From my extremely
limited testing, monitors that strike me as quality usually end up supporting
sync on green, which is the only unusuall thing.
