[rescue] netbsd getcwd question

  Well, when you call getcwd(), you pass it a pointer to your buffer and
int telling getcwd() how large your buffer is.  Is it possible that
something "clever" in a makefile is recursing, doing nested mkdirs,
and winding up with really long paths?
