[rescue] Feeling X impared

So, I've managed to screw up X on my Ultra 1 Creator once again, but I'm
not sure how, nor how to fix it. I'm quite sure that I've not messed
around with the hostname for this box at all. I was working away in X,
clicked something and it crashed, leaving me at a console login prompt.
I rebooted, mostly because I can't type (wrong init level), and now all
I get is "The X-server can not be started on display :0...".
/usr/openwin/bin/openwin seems to get me logged in to openwindows, but
/usr/dt/bin/Xsession doesn't get me into CDE. /etc/init.d/dtlogin
doesn't get me to a dtlogin screen either. If I run it after killing
the old dtlogin process, it prints the same errors that I get on boot.
Can somebody point me in the right direction on a FM to read, or provide
some debugging pointers? Thanks much,
Greg
