Yep.  Got the cover off.  Apparently it doesent want to use a serial
console at ALL if it had the video card installed.  Pulled that, got it
booted in service mode (so I can remove the "missing" items from the
system config), and it just passed diags with flying colors.

Now, I gotta find one of my AUI to rj45 transceivers....

(and a copy of AIX 5L.. i've got 4.3.3..)
