[rescue] Fiber channel

I am working on a lab for my Network+ students, and was wondering if some of
you could answer a question for me? If I install one of these cards in 2
different computers, can I reverse the send and receive cables and create an
Ethernet connection between the 2 systems?

By incorporating the assembly of the cables, this would be a great learning
experience. I can't afford hubs or switches.
